Some people, myself included, did not like the coach, mentality and style of play the last 3 years. Like Tanguay, I also thought the team had more potential than their results indicated. I consider the book closed on the Brent era and the clock at least partially reset with the personnel changes on the ice and behind the bench.
The results have not been ideal yet this year, but the means have shown considerable difference. There is reason for optimism still in my opinion
