Fact is, Kips had very few shots to deal with over the past few games, and yet he's let in multiple goals each game, with save percentages under .900 . I'm a big kipper fan, but right now we NEED wins. I just feel he's being uncharacteristically soft (for his standards). And in the circumstances, I don't think we can wait for him to iron out his issues, whilst allowing 3+ goals in on 18-20 shots per game. It's just not good enough to close things out when we need him to. Maybe Irving, being rested and refreshed, could come in for Detroit and be solid enough to spot the team with the way the offense is playing.
Just what I would do.

I'd say no. I thought Kipper bounced back and had a very strong game tonight. he's shown that ability in the past to do so after a bad game and despite the L I thought he was very solid tonight.
He's our No. 1 guy and I think he needs to build off that performance. Wait for a 2nd night of a back to back to put Irving in.
