As for MLS, both teams have very good attendance, at or near capacity (you DO realize BC place is capped at 21k for soccer). Seattle having one of the best teams in the league and a population of 1 million more people probably contributes to them blowing away every other city in the league in this regard. __________________

In defence of Vancouver soccer, Vancouver was bringing in English and Scottish First Division teams (no Premier League than) and fielding a local all star team to play against them years before Pro soccer came to NA. Vancouver had it's own soccer stadium (Callister Park) and it's teams would often beat the visiters and they were perennial Canadian soccer champions. They even won the Kennedy Cup, a championship between the Mexican and American all stars and the Vancouver (PCL) all stars. When I went to public school the school was mad for soccer and that's all we played, and it wasn't limited to immigrants. In fact in those days the population was almost entirely of British extraction.
