I don't understand many of the comments about the southern US, probably because I live in South New York.
In New York (meaning NYC), New Yorkers are cool! Friendly, funny,helpful.
When they get down here---yikes. Impatient, nasty, entitled...but good bagels

Most are only here because they don't want to shovel snow.

And I'm Dutch too.
