Can't hate the work Feaster has done considering his mandate. Picking up Hudler, Cervenka, and Wideman all seem like good moves and even though Cammy is struggling I still make that trade with the Habs.

yup, i don't think i disagree. i think the anger/frustration, at least for myself, was a result of the "new season' over-the-top optimism that perhaps if all the stars aligned the team could actually beat the odds and be a playoff caliber team.
I think many folks, myself included had the flames anywhere from 8th to 11th in the conference. All things considered, i think everyone would be ok if the standings at the trade deadline looked like they do today, than if the team moved up to 9th-11th (likely even 8th considering the inevitable first round whalloping).
i'll be watching the games regardless of the results... however, think fans really need to temper their expectations of this roster.
