Hudler and Cervenka are obvious improvements, Our secondary scoring was almost non existant or too streaky to really make an impact. Wideman for all his supposed shotcomings defensively has been the second best if not the best defenseman on the team so far. So our top four have improved as well. Not to mention Backlund and Stempniaks improvement or even Brodies continued development has had a positive impact on the team. The old guard are the ones who are not sustaining their end of the bargain and if they can the team on the whole will be markedly better than last seasons squad. Just kind of a tense moment right now with Kipper being so iffy.

I expected Iggy and Cammalleri to start off this slow on the scoresheet but Kippers start has been worrying.

I am all for tossing in the hat at the deadline if we are on the outside looking in (even by a couple points) but right now I am not so sure much is going to happen. And first round picks are going to be treated like platinum this year. Deep deep draft.
