I don't know if this will be the ongoing legal question thread, but here goes:

Are auto-renewal clauses legal and enforceable in alberta?

For example: you agree to these terms for 36 months, if you do not give written notice to cancel this agreement 30 days prior to the end of the term, this contract automatically renews for another 36 months, and so-on-and-so-on.
