Jiri I can't believe such a post came from your keyboard. While the losses are extremely frustrating I agree the silver lining is that if the Flames are finally going to implode this is the perfect season to do it on a lot of levels. The disaster is in a shortened season meaining the pain will not be prolonged through 82 games and this is a really good draft to have a top pick.
I'm fully prepared to accept the short term pain for long term gain as a Flames fan. I'm tired of the current plight of mediocrity and it's clear the best this team can achieve this year will simply be more of the same from previous years. |
