This thread reminds of the Random Thoughts Thread .
There should've been a law or whatever, starting with the building of the first single family home subdivisiion, stating that all home sites must be a minimum of half an acre or something. Yeah, I know, it would cut down on profits and affordability but it would reduce also a lot of problems and suburban angst. Saying your home is your castle hen your neighbor is 6 feet away is just a bunch of crap.
Also, we should have 5 day mail delivery like you guys do. And sometimes I think there should be a mandatory retirement age at the PO so people plan better, instead of thinking they can work till 70 so why save any money. We have letter carriers who can barely walk. And yes we have some guys nearing 70 who are faster and have a better work ethic than other younger carriers, so whatever I think is probably wrong anyway!
