It's not sugar coating when you use facts. Flames had more shots, chances and control of the play. They had more hits, more takeaways. They easily could have won this. How do you debate facts?
This game simply came down to goaltending. If Kipper was good or hell, even mediocre, the Flames come out with 2 points.
It was there in the third period for the taking, it's not as bad a loss as you're making it out to be.
