If guys don't like Yakupovs celebrations, maybe they should work harder to prevent him from scoring. Maybe Yakupov is motivated to humiliate opponents as much as he is to beat them. Sports are as much about mind games as they are about the physical, so it's not a stretch to imagine.

Standing at the glass making tearing motions towards the fans and jerking off your goalie stick and pretending to throw it at the fans isn't over the top? I was sitting second row at the end of the ice that it was occuring. I get the enthusiasm and such but to go out of the way to actually stand at the glass and do those sort of gestures is...I don't know, I've never seen anything like that in my 20 years of watching hockey at all levels.
I'm just saying be prepared but also expect those antics to be responded to. The time will come where Yakupov will have to answer the bell if he continues.
