I guess it depends on what you consider a benefit. I had a lot of fun during the Olympics despite being on the opposite coast and in the US, and working 16-18 hour days for pretty much the duration. Being catch highlights like Montgomery slamming that beer was great, and it somehow did connect me to Canada and being Canadian. Sneaking away from the office for 5 hours on that final Sunday afternoon to watch the gold medal game may have been the most fun I've ever had.
