Just to maybe ease your mind a bit. I had what they thought was Kidney stones a few months ago and ended up in the hospital with tremendous pain. They did a bunch of tests (CT, Ultrasounds, bloodwork) and found a swollen lymph node and other areas around my left side. It was determined that it was an infection (not sure how I got it) and it was cleared up with antibiotics. Hopefully, it something simple like this for you.
