As someone who is half flip, I must respecfully disagree. Filipino is heavily spanish-based, which requires the full pronunciation of every vowel and allows for a smooth flow of syllables. Many people consider spanish to be one of the better languages to ''listen'' to since you pronounce every letter as they appear, unlike english. In fact, I've heard from many people that don't use english as their #1 language, that english is one of the more grating languages to hear. When you consider we have redneck/southern american "english", they have a good point.
I consider some european languages to be the most irritating to listen to. Polish and Russian sound like a garbled drunken mess, almost like they are just making random sounds and magically they can understand each other.
