By that rationale though, we shouldn't have to pay Sales Tax, because the money we are spending has already been taxed. I really liked the idea of reducing Income Taxes, and raising Sales taxes, to promote saving, and to have a way to tax unrecorded personal income (Tips, Drug Dealers, organized crime, etc)
