Ever since I took up watching NFL more regularly, watching CFL is like getting my teeth pulled. The game, the players, the production quality of TV airings, its all rubbish. I still go to a game or two for some summer entertainment, but by no means is the game the draw at all.

What really happened is that the NFL copied the CFL and college offenses. With the top teams all running some spread sets. They have started to use their tight ends as slots. They pass significantly more. On defense hey have gone to more athletic players at the expense of size.
As a die hard cfl fan I would agree now that the NFL is an exciting game. It used to be almost unwatchable but now with 5000 yard qb seasons being not a rare occurance and qbs being given the green light to run the NFL now might be superior to the CFL in ternlms of excitement. The only thing they have left to fix is the 45 second kneel downs to end the game. The CFL 20 second play clock is better for end game
