I was actually just trying to decide how much beer I need to go ice fishing this weekend..

I used to be all about the IPA's.. but they are so heavy, not really a 'session beer'. I find that now a days if I know I will be drinking in excess, like fishing, I prefer to pack some light beer, like a case or two of Rolling Rock. I still prefer a 6 pack of IPA to watch hockey on a Saturday night though..

I once drank 7 heroine beer and 2 vendor beer at a Flames game, from puck drop till the end.. that was the weekend of the Drumheller Shell Bathroom Incident and why I must never drive through that town again.

Edit: just read the OP, I don't think that a pint a night is any big deal.. but I am like many others in this thread, I won't drink at all during the week usually unless I am at a concert.. however when I do drink it is usually around a case of beer in a night, whether that is in bottles cans or pints depends on the setting.

They say that binge drinking is the worst kind, so you are much better off than the rest of us.
