I also never said that you thought that he was bad. The reason I brought up the good human being part is because you would never know it based on how the media has portrayed this kid to be some criminal.
Any yes, even though I don't know him personally, the people that do know him and are around him everyday say he is. When the coaches, teammates and student body can't stop talking about him and what a tremendous person he is off the field that speaks volumes to me. One small example is the fact that he makes it a chore to learn all the walk on players names.
Te'o comes from a great family with great morals and strong faith who always puts others before him. Again don't blast me, were not besty's or anything. I'm just going off what people around him say and from I've seen with the way he carries himself.

Again, you are talking as if you know him. If you want me to stop insinuating that you think you know the guy stop talking as if you do. You don't know his family, you don't know his morals. I expect that you share his faith, so you think you do, but the fact is you do not.
And the media hasn't portrayed him as anything, the media has asked reasonable questions of someone who played up a story that turned out to be false. In fact, the media outside of Deadspin hasn't even taken him to task over the inconsistencies and constantly changing positions, they've been content to just swallow the story fed to them from Teo's PR camp.
Btw, learning your teammates names is not an accomplishment. You're with them 40 hours a week, I'd hope you'd figure it out, particularly at a place like ND where the student body is small and everyone lives on campus.
