I appreciate facts and stats as much as the next guy, but I have a theory that the easier people have it, the less they appreciate it. I can't present you stats or facts that back my theory, but there's no way the current generation is more appreciative than their parents.

I'm 31, my parents are boomers and they busted their asses to make sure I had a life full of "things" and opportunities they didn't. It didn't make me grateful, it made me spoiled and it took my entire 20's to realize it.

Not saying we have it easy now, it's definitely a grind out there and there's way more competition in everything today. But we don't have it tougher than them. Just my opinion, dude.
