After a day at the range shooting skeets with my g/f's Uncle whom had an over under, he handed it to me to try out. I almost flung it up in the air it was so light compared to the one I was using.

My over under is lighter than my pump, but there are two big reasons, the first is that my over under is a 20 gauge, and the second is that my pump has a pretty long barrel on it.
I use the pump for geese, and my over under for pheasant.
My semi is a good all around gun that I used to use for evertying, but now I pretty much just use it for ducks.
My basic reasoing is as follows:
Pheasant (20g over under): 20 is more than enough, it's nice to have a light gun that I can get up quickly and if it takes me more than 2 shots, that third one isn't likely to help me much anyway
Geese (12g pump): They're big and slow, so I use a big slow gun
Ducks (12g semi): Problem: ducks are tiny and fast. Solution: Throw lead at the problem as quicly and plentifully as you can
