There's no buddy tone at all. I'm just supporting a student athlete who I've followed and cheered for his entire career at ND. I have yet to hear any facts starting that Manti was indeed involved in this in any way shape or form. So why wouldn't I support him? That doesn't make me a sucker. Unfortunately, the only sucker here is Manti.
Also, what does Manti have to gain by doing all these on camera interviews and press conferences? Nothing. They have let the story play itself out and let the facts speak in favor of Manti which it has.
Although It won't matter what new evidence comes out or what Manti says because people are content to bury their heads in the sand and believe whatever they want to believe. They keep telling themselves that there is no way Manti wasn't involved in this because nobody can be that naive or how can you have a strictly online relationship with someone you've never met bla bla bla. All of which proves absolutely nothing regarding Manti being involved somehow.
However, I've come to the realization that people only want the truth they are looking for. If they don't get it, then it's all a big conspiracy. Hence the now he's gay comments that are all coming out
