Are the floors in the dressing room still that bumpy blue concrete? You had to keep your skate guards on to the bench if you didn't want to destroy your blades. Lots of good memories in that place.
And while we're naming old school rinks, anyone ever play/practice at Indus Arena? The dressing rooms were colder than outside, it was nuts, but the ice was always great. Southland had underrated ice too, very fast.

Loved Southland ice. Another old barn with great ice was Black Diamond, had tons of practices out there so our team could get more practice time in peewee
Worst ice though hands down was Rose Kohn, I remember gaps between the boards and ice. Broke my collarbone going into the boards once there.
