There was also the play where Schroeder and Bouwmeester were battling off to kipper's right. Puck ended up in the slot for a primo scoring chance followed up with several more. This was in a 2-2 game. Bouwmeester did everything he could to be goat of the game and Kipper bailed him out.

1st play: I agree, Bouwmeester still backs up too much.
2nd play: you need to watch that play again, With about 1:30 left Bouwmeester hit Schroeder around the trapezoid line, they both fell and the puck squirted behind the net and eventually in front. Do you want Bouwmeester to be in the corner AND be in front of the net? Schroeder wasn't involved in that primo scoring chance so those two neutralized each other. It's up to Smith and the forwards to cover the rest. Unless you want Jay to cover all 5 guys.
