they are actually not such a bad team now, although I think Gillies has alot to do with that. In the Hockey East standings they are actually tied for 3rd with Boston University. It looks like they have a decent chance at even having home ice advantage in the 1st round of the Hockey East playoff tourney. I'd love to see Providence and Boston College meet in the HE Championship, but I know it's pretty unlikely.
