To be honest, I'm with Resolute on this one. Based upon the last South St. burger I had, I'd prefer a Big Mac any day of the week by my taste buds. The Mac may be formed out of fecal meat, but it's somehow managed to charm millions over the decades with the shameful lure of its two decks and tangy sauce. Plus, you can get one anywhere and most importantly, via the drive-thru (not factors in flavour, I know), whereas South St. seems to be posturing as some sort of quasi "sit-down restaurant" burger...a slightly more up-scale Harvey's, if I may...and just fails to cut it. I do honestly contend that something's changed there over the last while, though, because I don't recall it being nearly as crappy as when I had it a month or so ago.
