Default Sun TV asks for government help

http://o.canada.com/2013/01/22/sun-n...dian-tv-first/

Everyone's favourite free market conservative television station lost 17 million dollars last year. And they state that they will continue to lose money unless there is a government mandate that all Canadians with cable television pay 4 dollars each for Sun TV.

Quote:
An application to tack about $4 per year on to the cable bills of every subscriber across the country was filed with the CRTC on Monday. The next morning, Sun News took their campaign to the people, with a social media campaign called Canadian TV First.
The effort emphasizes the “do or die” state of affairs at the channel, which is losing about $17 million a year some 21 months into its existence.
How else will Canadians be informed about the inherent evils of government overreach unless Sun TV receives a government mandate that their station be beamed into each and every cable subscribers home?
