My wife saw it once when it first came out months ago and loved it. She then saw it for the second time during the home opener against the Sharks. She said "Oh, this is that great commercial!", and proceeded to get teary-eyed during the last scene of the player sitting down crying/laughing at the experience. When the commercial came on again for the 100th time at the end of the second period, she was saying "I hate this commercial. Blah blah, cheerleaders, blah blah, goal, blah blah crying guy...enough already!".
Was there more variety in commercials when I was younger, or has my tolerance for them (and their repetition) gone way down because of the PVR? It's the one thing that really sucks about live sports.
