Default First Round thoughts.

Gretz:

Thrash make short work of the Sabres, taking the series in 5 games. Thrash PK was a perfect 20/20 on the series. Canes upset the big bad Bruins in the first round. Canes average 4 goals a game vs. defensive Bruins. Yelle steps it up in the play-offs with five points. Canes Thrash meet in the second round …….. Canes look good ……. Ohhhh its going to be a good one!!

Panthers swept the Pens in four games, two close games in Florida, and two high scorers in Pitsburg. Panthers continue to be a road team playing better in Pittsburgh. It’s going to be a great match-up in round two with either the Sens or the Rangers. Bad news for the Panthers … they open the second round at home.

Sens 2 and Rangers 3 …….. Game six set for tomorrow night in Ottawa. A chance for the Rangers to advance past a very good Sens team. Rangers where hot coming into the play-offs and continue to make their bid for the right to hoist the Stanley Cup. The only difference in this series is the Rangers are 2 – 0 in OT.

Bad news for the winner of this series …… the Panthers are awaiting ….. After sweeping a very good team

Howe:

Oil sweep Canucks. Biron chased from the net 3 out of 4 games.. Oil get production from both number 1 lines. And ohhh Martin Brodeur.

Flames hammer Ducks, Kipper is the story in Calgary.

They say it takes about a full year for your fantasy team to start to take on your some of your personality traits. …….. Man the Flames are OLD

Wings 3 at Preds 2…… all five games decided by one goal ….. whoooo thats a series. Game six in Detriot,,,, no sign of Chara. Detriot won the last two games ………. Ohhhhhh I wish I had Khabibulin now…. Detroit has to end it in game 6, they do not want to go back to Nashville. Only 7 points separated them in the regular season so its lived up to its billing ……. Great series!!!

Jets 3 at Wild 2 …… Wild face elimination to the expansion team.. ouch not the way you want to end your season. Actually only 3 points separated the two teams. On paper this would be a huge upset for the Jets. But not in reality as the Jets won 42 games this year. With Hasek on the shelf the Wild may be toast. But I think a game 7 is waiting.

Well that killed an hour
