I wouldn't be worried about what the TSN panel and even Sportsnet panel think of the Flames. Sure go ahead and pick them 14th or even in last place, who cares because I don't remember a team not making the playoff or in last place before the puck drop in the season anyways. A few days ago, i was watching Sportsnet and Craig Button, the same guy who traded Marc Savard for nobody and the same guy who drafted those bust 1st rounder, predicted the Oilers will make the playoff and Detroit Red Wings won't.
For me I think it is better that those so-called hockey expert pick the Flames to go lower and hopefully that motivates them in proving them wrong. We have some players who had a bad season JayBo, Stajan, Backlund, Comeau(not sure about this guy though) and even Iginla and Cammy had a bad season last year that might bounce back and have a good or even great season. Hey, nowhere but up, right? So, prove them wrong Flames!!!
