Rube makes the key distinction between an RGIII and a Cam Newton for instance. One is built like an NBA point guard, the other is built like a fullback. RGIII is so strikingly similar to Vick it's kinda scary, almost exact same body types. And when they play a reckless style that tries to do it all rather than to be smart, its only going to end badly. RW3 is great because he understands sometimes you have to live to fight another day. Its admirable that RGIII wants to do everything he can to help his team win, but its not very smart either. Sometimes a throw away is better than a 9 yard scramble followed by a linebacker or safety annihilating you.

As to running QBs in general, I do think defense will be able to adjust over time, but that guys like Kaepernick and Wilson are rare talents who will always be difficult to match up with.
