Well, from first hand experience I've worked with military in the past and on the range have had them refer to magazines as "mags" or "clips". Again it truly is semantics. Hell, most dictionaries even recognize the fact that the two terms are interchangeable. he probably loses sleep over drive throughs being called drive thrus. Languages and dialects evolve. I digress, the point of all of this was that high capacity magazines whether for a rifle or handgun give the person using them the ability to inflict more harm than a lower capacity magazine would.
