Just a word of caution, I believe that any cable that runs through a wall needs to be CL2 rated. Meaning it has extra insulation to protect against fire.
I have read stories the insurance can deny claims if they discover non-CL2 in wall cable in your house, even if it didn't start the fire.
This all maybe internet BS, but I thought I'd warn none the less. Maybe someone here knows for sure?
