I have to say that prewashed and precut salad is a godsend. If I have to work and then go out in the evening for any reason then I don't have the time to wash a head of lettuce, shred some carrot and chop other vegetables to have in a salad. Usually, if I have an evening appointment I would rather spend my time doing something other than food prep. So, my time is very much worth the extra 2 dollars that I spent on the salad in a bag.
