When I owned a cats I did find their feces and urine gross. I carried a squirt gun with me to shoot them with water if they ever went on the counter because that's disgusting.
Nobody likes cleaning litter because it's gross and I'd like to think most people wouldn't let their cats walk on kitchen tables or counters. That's fairly basic.
