A friend, and now CBC reporting 20+ officers completely surrounding Alex Ferguson school in the SW, police helicopter is overhead. Precautionary I would assume, but if anyone knows more...

CBC Reporter Nadia Stewart is at the scene. She reports police are blocking 26th Street S.W. at 17th Avenue. Police are not letting any traffic in our out.
