I can't do much cause I guess shelter for people take precedence over my quiet time

I also hear coyotes, but that is a seperate issue.

A dog coming up to me and my family is something I would consider rude on the part of the owner (leashed or not, I don't want a dog touching me), but I'd guess you wouldn't find that irresponsible, either.

If we are walking by, and I have my dog leeshed and controled, I do not find that irresponsible. If I am in a off-leash area, then there is no issue.

An owner that lets their dog take a crunch on the ground and doesn't pick it up is irresponsible. Agree.

An owner that lets their dog urinate anywhere other than their own back yard while within the city is irresponsible. As others have said, people, animals, everything pees everywhere. Not sure why you would care about this. Should we designate every animal in Calgary to pee in one spot.

Basically, I think it would be impossible for us to agree about what we find irresponsible. IMO, every dog owner is irresponsible as they would be guilty of probably all of the above (I think there would be some that would keep their dog away from my family, however, which is always appreciated).
Honestly Sliver, I believe you truly believe what you are writing, but take a step back and ask yourself if you are WAY over the top here.
