This is not about money for Iginla or the Flames for the reasons i've already stated above. As for Jarome thinking about a hometown discount - what a laugher that is - why would he even consider that? Not a chance.
If he truly wants to win a Cup, best to go to a team with a strong chance at winning over the next few years - and go sooner rather than later to maximize your opportunities.
