Not sure if this applies to you - but a co-worker of mine got out of his contract because he moved to a remote location where the cell company he was with did not have service.
Apparently there's a clause that allows you to be released from the contract without cancellation fees if you're in a location where they can't provide a service (uphold their end of the contract)
Alternatively, I'd also be curious as to the details of your plan. Can it be transferred to a current Rogers subscriber?
