Not that being a top 20 player is something to turn your nose about but the way he has been touted by many in the Canadian media when do you start to wonder if maybe this is what he will be for his career and not a real top 10, let alone major, threat?

He's only played one competitive match this year and lost it. The Hewitt match doesn't count. This will be a big year for him. He starts the year 13th, if he's not top 8 by the end of this year then there's cause for concern.
By the summer he should be beating the Tsonga, Berdych and Tipsarevic of the world.
