They’ve also issued an arrest warrant for the collector himself. Mark Pieloch, 52, is being sought after for felony willful avoidance of sales tax on as many as 150 collector cars.
A six-month investigation led to today’s events and despite a number of the cars being registered in South Dakota, Nebraska law states that if the vehicles are stored within Nebraska itself, sales tax must be paid.
