Nope, this was 3 years ago and a 700 series. I guess the captain went for it knowing the risk of stalling the engine. I was on the side that went into reverse, and I'm pretty sure the engine did not stall.
By the time I was getting off the plane a maintenance guy was up front chatting with the flight crew.
