It would be shocking for the Kings to trade Toffoli for anyone. That was the point of my post. Bernier leaving is a no brainier. Hickey is way down the depth chart on defense so he could easily be traded. Toffoli has impressed the Kings right from the start and has progressed faster than expected. Management likes this kid a lot. Very slim to impossible chance they let him go.

Good response would have been nice to hear this with out the BS up above.
I certainly agree with the first two parts of your post and my issue isn't that Toffoli isn't good or should be traded wily nilly but if they are trading for Iginla that shows a willingness to put a lot of chips in for this year and as good as he looks he isn't such a surefire prospect that they should hold him back from getting Iginla.
I would say if they are willing to go after a guy like Iginla that is showing a willingness to give up a guy like Toffoli and that if that decision is made that they need a guy of Iginla's quality then giving up the prospect should be an easy decision.
