What are you talking about? He's not complaining about losing anyone? He could care less about Fryers.
How do you figure his behavior to be strange? He's presented an opportunity to take a swipe at Spurs and Levy and their dealings and takes it.
It's nothing to do with the quality of the player but everything but making sure that the world and his dog knows what Spurs and Levy did, something to put on the backburner and bring up when he poaches their next kid and their subsequent whining
Strange behaviour in this case would be to roll over and do nothing.
