the 2011 and 2012 drafts are looking really good so far, but 2010 is looking pretty solid as well. Even more so when you consider there was no 1st or 2nd rounder that year. Also keep in mind I am saying it is solid not spectacular.
- Max Reinhart (64th), looks like he has the potential to be a bottom 6 center with very strong PK ability.
- Joey Leach (73rd), looks like he will not have much of a career.
- John Ramage (103rd), is having his best year of college so far and project to be a 3rd pairing defenseman with strong leadership attributes.
- Bill Arnold (108th), is have a great season so far and looks like he could be a strong bottom 6 forward.
- Michael Ferland (133rd), has taken a step back this season but was looking like a steal prior to that.
- Patrick Holland (193rd), traded but had an exceptional final year in the WHL and is having a decent rookie season in the AHL.
When 2010 is looking like our worst drafting season in the past 3 that is a pretty good sign when 3 players drafted in rounds 3 & 4 projects to be NHLers and your 5th and 7th round picks still aren't after thoughts.
