Hmmm, I can't think of any indiscriminate mass killings off the top of my head. Most instances have been racially, culturally, religiously, politically motivated and the like.
But that doesn't justify using these pictures simply because they are the best they could come up with. The fact doesn't change that they've still missed their mark.
If they want to use shocking photos to get their point across, they should use exclusively pictures of aborted fetuses and whatnot.
