And no...not only Packer fans are thinking they got jobbed, they did and the entire NFL agreed including the league itself. Your revisionist history is remarkable however.

Its very simple...if the call in the Seahawk game is correctly made as evidenced by everyone who saw it other than the banker posing as a referee, then after the conclusion of yesterdays NFL schedule, the Packers would be in the number 2 seed and a bye into the following week...this is neither disputable nor that difficult to wrap your head around.

Not sure what your blathering on about other things has to do with any of it. If they had won an extra game as forced to by this decision, then yeah they would have been in that position as well, but they didnt. They did however, beat the Seahawks fair and square, they were just not awarded the win as everyone else in the league was every other game this season.

Not worth going over again and again however, and this is my last comment about it...knowing I am 100% correct in saying what i did.
Ironically, the only thing the NFL said the refs got wrong was not calling Tate for PI. They said the call was correct itself, as its a judgment call by the official. Blame the official for poor judgement, but no, the NFL did not say it screwed the Packers.

And revisionist history is really dumb because you're assuming every other element of the season plays out exactly the same. The Packers mentality is different if they win and the Seahawks different if they lose. And that effect cannot be accurately determined. There is absolutely no guarantee the season plays out the same either way. Lets say the Seahawks lose and they go .500 the rest of the way and they never beat the 49ers...no bye week anyways for the Packers. It happened, the Packers still controlled their ability to get a bye, and they didn't. Obviously if the Packers lose next week, I fully expect you to blame it on the Fail Mary, since had it not happened the Packers would have had the bye week and thus shouldn't even be playing Saturday. Which would be exceptionally lame.
