isn't part of the problem Star Wars has is that it's original movies were made with new movie magic / technology?

Now that movies can pretty much have whatever you can think of in them, pretty sure teh "awe" that was Star Wars is now obsolete. That's why the new Star Wars movies will never stack up to the originals.

Also why a movie like Avatar was so big, it was new technology effectively used. Avatar was simply Pocahontas 2, but with 3d and new characters and bam, movie magic money making gold!!!
