Also , just my talking to rinks and looking at their online schedules and prices anyone of us could do the same thing and make a profit even at charging 10 bucks a head. The key is none of the people that bitch want to put forth the time and effort to organize it.

Also, everyone complains when the guy running it pulls in a bit of profit when there's a good turnout. But if another guy running a shinny charges a reasonable amount and doesn't get a full turnout and ends up losing money, nobody cares or offers to pay more to make up the cost.
That's the way shinnys always are, everyone wants them to be perfectly tailored to their criteria of location, cost and amount of players. That's why most guys who put all the time and effort into organizing shinnys eventually say **** it, and just tell people "Look, Here's the time, location, cost and range of players that may show up, either show up or don't" lol.
