Let me clear here, I do not think that video games cause violence in any direct way.
I do not even think they are anything more than a very minor influence in the much larger picture. I am simply stating that exposure to violence in the media, even video game violence, especially at a young age will desensitize a person towards violence.
How this impacts someone in the long run, I really have no comment on, other than to say that
a kid playing Call of Duty will likely have no noticeable increase in problems associated with this desensitization than someone who just watched your typical prime time TV. "
These are the in the conversation some agree some don't, why am I not allowed to discuss this too?
