I agree that Edmontonians do not rip the city of Calgary as much as we rip their city but I also think most people from Edmonton recognize that Calgary is generally the nicer city overall. They have a rich sports history which is the best thing that happened to that city so I understand why they proudly tout their previous achievements.

I find Vancouver almost has some sort of inferiority complex. They can't say sentence without mentioning how beautiful their city is. It's like they have to constantly flog that to make up for the fact it's always under rain, the city is so ridiculously expensive to live, and that there's generally a lack of quality job opportunities to support a comfortable lifestyle. Who really moves out to Vancouver unless you are very wealthy, near retirement, or Asian immigrant?
